It’s blue; it’s pink; Isotope watches has launched the Hydrium X “Blink”. If you haven’t caught on, “Blink”, of course, is the amalgamation of the words “blue” and “pink”. The brand says, “By combining these two colours, which are traditionally used to designate each sex, you get a watch for everybody.”
While the “Blink” shares the design language of the now sold-out Hydrium X “Will Return”, the blue and pink model “adds a new dimension”. Despite being meant to be worn casually, the “Blink” is a “competent” diving watch. The watch offers water resistance at depths of “up to” 300 metres.
This variant sports a 40 mm case. The 316L stainless steel item has a micro-blasted finish. A unidirectional sapphire bezel (complete with 120 clicks), screw-down crown, and double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal are also present.
The “Blink” is equipped with an automatic Swiss Landeron mechanical movement. The self-winding unit offers a power reserve of 40 hours.
